Our history of serving the financial planning needs of American families begins in the early 1950s, when United States Air Force Lt. Col. Carroll Payne had the occasion to work closely with the families of several airmen killed in flight. Saddened by the survivors financial difficulties and recognizing that without intervention, military families would struggle and often fail to realize their financial goals and dreams, Lt. Col. Payne began laying the groundwork for the company he would organize in 1958 and which would grow to become First Command.

We are currently looking for experienced and non:experienced Financial Advisors to sell Investment, Insurance and Banking Products and services.?
Candidates with no experience as a financial advisor enter our professional licensing block of training which typically involves 90:120 days of study to obtain their Life/Health and the Series 6, 63 and 65 Securities Licenses.? Following successful completion of licensing, Advisor Trainees enter the Advisor Orientation Program (AOP) designed to acquaint them with the tools necessary to build a successful business.? The AOP provides training materials and coaching from a local mentor and field leader. ??Following completion of licensing and the AOP, the candidate becomes a Gateway Advisor Employee and is certified to meet with clients.?? After 90 days with proven sales ability, Gateway Advisors attend the Essentials of Success Course in our corporate office in Fort Worth, texas, where they will gain advanced techniques in sales and financial planning.
Experienced advisors enter the AOP as well, but depending on possession of certain active Securities Licenses, may complete the program and become a Gateway Advisor in a shorter time frame.
As a Gateway Advisor you will receive initial salary plus bonuses and commissions, as well as administrative support for up to 24 months, and you will enjoy eligibility for insurance benefits after 90 days.
The third step in this process is to exit the Gateway Program and become an Independent Contractor.? Here you will enjoy unlimited income opportunity through fees for professional services and higher commissions on sales of investment and insurance products, plus additional annual and deferred compensation for your production and contribution to company revenues.
